  <Title>GEBCO_2024 Grid North Polar View</Title>
This is a test WMS - The General Bathymetric Chart of the Oceans (GEBCO) consists of an international group of experts who work on the development of a range of bathymetric data sets and products. GEBCO operates under the joint auspices of the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) and the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO. See our web site for more information about GEBCO at www.gebco.net. Imagery and data within this WMS cover the Arctic Ocean region and are taken from version 5.0 of the International Bathymetric Chart of the Arctic Ocean (IBCAO). This data set is included as a regional compilation in the GEBCO_2024 grid. The data set can be downloaded in polar projection co-ordinates and represents elevation values, in meters, on a 100m interval grid. The data set can be downloaded from GEBCO’s web site (www.gebco.net).
The data set was developed at the Department of Geological Sciences, Stockholm University, Sweden, acting as part of The Arctic and North Pacific Regional Center for the Nippon Foundation-GEBCO Seabed 2030 Project.
