  <Title>Test WMS - GEBCO_2024 Grid South Polar View</Title>
The General Bathymetric Chart of the Oceans (GEBCO) consists of an international group of experts who work on the development of a range of bathymetric data sets and products. GEBCO operates under the joint auspices of the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) and the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO. See our web site for more information about GEBCO at www.gebco.net. Imagery and data within this WMS cover the Southern Ocean region. The imagery is based on a bathymetric data set developed by the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI), Germany, for inclusion in the 2024 release of the GEBCO global grid (GEBCO Compilation Group (2024) GEBCO 2024 Grid (doi:10.5285/1c44ce99-0a0d-5f4f-e063-7086abc0ea0f). The Southern Ocean area grid was generated in polar projection co-ordintaes, EPSG:9354
